The Al Qasr Madinat hotel in Dubai
The largest resort in Dubai, the Madinat Jumeirah is a five-star luxury resort located on one kilometer of private beachfront. It is a holiday destination created to resemble ancient life on Dubai Creek. It has waterways, wind towers, a busy and fascinating souk, and abras or wooden boats to take visitors to the different areas and attractions.
The Al Qasr is the centerpiece of the resort and has been designed to resemble an Arabian mansion for a royal summer palace. It is a very high-quality boutique hotel with 292 guest rooms and suites with spectacular views of the sea as well as the Burj Al Arab. The hotel is linked to the rest of the 40-hectare resort by the 5.4 km of waterways. It has lovely tree-lined walkways with elegant sculptures of Arabian horses. The resort has 29 residential retreats that are two-story with eight to 11 rooms and suites, beautifully landscaped gardens with a few located right on the beachfront. There is also a 24-hour butler service.
The resort offers many water sports including windsurfing and diving as well as other activities. A fabulous children’s playground, tennis courts, squash courts, several indoor and outdoor swimming pools are just a few of the fun things to do. The ancient souk setting has trendy boutique shops. There are seven restaurants in the hotel and 40 in the whole resort. These range from casual pizza to award-winning world-class restaurants.
The hotel is near Ski Dubai the indoor ski resort for a bit of winter fun in the middle of summer, the Emirates Golf Club which is the home of the Dubai Desert Classic, and complimentary tickets are given to the Wild Wadi Waterpark next door with the largest collection of Master Blasters in the world. There is also the Talise Spa and Wellness Service with a sauna for health and beauty treatments or just for complete relaxation.
The conference facilities are also world-class serving up to 4500 people in the arena with Fort Island and outdoor venue that supports 1400 people.
The Madinat Jumeirah is a combination of refined grandeur, ancient culture, and excellent personal service. Along with this attention paid to the enjoyment of humans, the Madinat Jumeirah does not ignore its environmental responsibilities. The waterways around the resort are the habitat and sanctuary for injured turtles. They are cared for until they are ready to be released back into the wild. They have returned three endangered Green Turtles and 14 endangered Hawksbill to their natural habitat. This project is a collaboration between Jumeirah’s Aquarium team and the Wildlife Protection Office.
Madinat Jumeirah is a small city with attractions from the most relaxing to the most vibrant and exotic. It offers unique outdoor areas for dining or events including a private island that can serve 200 guests. This is perfect for the ideal wedding venue. It is a luxurious oasis where people from all over the world come to work, play, relax, and enjoy their days in Dubai.
