This is a small beach and is less crowded sand beach which is very close to Shivaji Park in Dadar West. Also a garden is there at the northern side of the beach named Veer Baji, Prabhu Udyan. Generally the beach is not safer for ladies after evening. Swimming on the sandy shore is not recommended as it is prone to danger; no alerts are being marked about high tide or sinking sand area. There is lack of proper illumination and CCTV camera due to which the only sitting space of the rocky entrance is occupied by males, drunkards and is not much safe for women. There is also lack of proper patrol and lifeguards in the region which makes the beach unsafe from many angles. Most of the people visit there during the daytime and also evening to have the illuminated view of the bridge. Girls are recommended to go there with their partners and not alone.
