There are 25 cultural places and 7 natural places which may be regarded as the heritage places of India by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The cultural places include Agra Fort, Ajanta caves, Buddhist monuments at Sanchi, Champaner-Pavagadh Archeological Park, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Elephanta caves, Churches and Convents of Goa, Ellora caves, Fatehpur Sikri, Humayun’s Tomb in Delhi, Jantar Mantar of Jaipur, Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar etc.
