Kalamb Beach in Nalasopara, Thane Mumbai
Kalamb Beach can be found in Nalasopara near the highway of Ahmadabad in Maharashtra. It is near to the Nirmal Village in the district of Palghar. There are four beaches connected in a row in the northern suburbs of Mumbai and Kalam is the fourth after Arnal, Navapur and Rajdohi beach. The Kalam beach is an isolated one and is less crowded place. So the sea shore remains free from any kind of pollution. The water current and the tides are suitable enough to enjoy bathing in the water. The beach is located at a distance of 70 km from the city of Mumbai which takes maximum 3 hours to reach there. Nalasopara West is the ne4arest railway hub to the beach. Public buses and private autos are available from the station to the destination. The distance between the beach and the station is just 7 km. If you are travelling by road then NH8 is near to the beach that leads your way straight to the west through the flyover connecting East and West near the Nalasopara Station. Then catch the Wagholi Nirmal road which will take you to Nirmal market. From there head straight towards the beach.
