It is the headquarters of the mission which was founded by Swami Vivekananda. The name of the mission is Ramakrishna Mission. This is another architecture which is situated on the banks of river Hooghly. The temple is still maintained by the Ramakrishna Mission. The architecture of the temple has a confluence of the Hindu architecture as well as Christian and Islamic architecture. The temple was built as a symbol of unity among the different religions in India at that point of time.

This is the Tomb of Mother Teresa and is maintained by the missionaries and her followers. It is a world-renowned tourist attraction.
