Ukraine is a country located in Eastern Europe, bordered by Russia to the east and northeast, Belarus to the north, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary to the west, and Romania and Moldova to the south. It has a population of over 40 million people, making it the 32nd most populous country in the world.

The capital and largest city of Ukraine is Kyiv (also spelled Kiev), which is a major cultural, scientific, educational, and industrial center. Ukrainian is the official language of the country, and the currency is the hryvnia.

Ukraine has a diverse economy with a mix of agriculture, heavy industry, and high-tech industries. The country is known for its fertile black soil, which makes it a major producer of agricultural products, including wheat, barley, and sunflowers. Ukraine is also a major producer of steel, chemicals, and machinery.

Ukraine has a rich history and cultural heritage, with notable landmarks including the historic city of Lviv, the Carpathian Mountains, and the Crimean Peninsula. The country is also known for its cuisine, which includes dishes such as borscht, varenyky (dumplings), and salo (cured pork fat).

The unique natural beauty will not leave you indifferent. Evpatoria, Sevastopol, Yalta, Mishor, Koktebel, Sudak, Alushta – these and many other cities and towns in Crimea will welcome you on vacation. You can make a trip around the Crimea, stopping at the vending town for a day or two, or else live in some of them for the entire period of rest.

Climate. Crimea is famous for its southern coast with a subtropical climate. Summers here are hot and dry with an average temperature of +23 … +25, Winter – cool and sometimes windy, with average temperatures around 0, the minimum -4 (on the coast). The best time to recreate in Crimea is May and September, very loved by many the so-called “velvet” season of September.

Crimea is famous for its attractions – Nikita Botanical garden, waterfall, Wuchang-Su, Livadia and the Vorontsov Palace near Yalta, the ruins of the ancient city of Hersonissos near Sevastopol, the cave city Chufut Calais and the Khan’s Palace in Bakhchisarai, Swallow’s Nest, numerous museums, wineries, and their tasting halls, mountain Ayu-Dag, Ai-Petri, Demerdzhi, Karalag, unique beauty capes Fiolent, Aya, Kazantip, Chauda and much more. If you are fond of active or even extreme holidays, go on a foot or bicycle trip to the Crimean mountains, it will be a unique and unforgettable honeymoon. Crimean resorts offer plenty of beach and water rides – riding on a banana or a so-called tablet, water cycling, yachting, water skiing, and you’ll be able to fly on parachute or paraplanners. In Crimea, there are several water parks, which are placed in Evpatoria, Sevastopol, Alushta, Sudak, and Simeiz. Fans of nightlife also won’t be disappointed – nightclubs, discos, bars, and restaurants are in all major resorts of Crimea. In Summer in Crimea near Evpatoria take place the festival of club music Kazantip.

Hotels and Ratest.

In Crimea, unfortunately, tourism infrastructure is not highly developed, as in other countries. Here are very few high-class hotels, but a lot of private mini-hotels and resorts, among which you can find very cozy and quite comfortable. The level of service in the Crimean resort is also considered low. Good hotels are located in Yalta – a Palmyra Palace 4 * (in-season price for a double room with breakfast from 1000 USD.) Oreanda 3 * (in-season price for a double room with breakfast and dinner from 1700 USD.) Yalta Intourist Hotel 3 * (in-season price for a double room with breakfast from 1000 UAH.) Club Hotel Villa Elena 4 * (in-season price for a double room with breakfast and dinner from 1900 UAH.). Twenty-four hours in private mini-hotels will cost between 400 hryvnias, food is not included, as it can be arranged separately or you can eat in numerous cafes and restaurants.

Climate. In the Ukrainian Carpathians, as always in the mountains, are dominated by snowy winters with average temperatures around -10 and cool summers with average temperatures 16.

Entertainment and Attractions.

Vacationing in the Carpathian Mountains is all year round. From December to March, you can visit ski resorts, such as Slavske, Dragobrat, and Bukovel. Also, in the Carpathians, there is a possibility for other types of active leisure  – alloys mountain rivers, mountain climbing, paragliding, horseback riding, hiking, and biking trips in the mountains. In addition, the Carpathian Mountains – a perfect place for rehabilitation, due to its mountain air and a multitude of mineral springs.

Hotels.

The Carpathians as well as the Crimea are not known for an abundance of high-class hotels. However, quite good hotels are still available, a hotel-castle “VejaVedmezha” 4 * (Slavske), Yaremche Club Hotel 3 * (Yaremche), Recreation Garden 2 * (Svaliava), Bukovel 3 * (Bukovel).

Rates. Accommodation for two persons in the Carpathian hotels will cost about 500 hryvnias per day.

It is located on the shores of the Northern Donets. It is famous for its unique historical and architectural sights and beautiful nature. Anton Pavlovich Chekhov called the resort Donetsk Switzerland. Unique natural conditions are conducive to healing the body. In Sviatogorsk’s few hotels, there is no class 5 * hotel, and only one class 4 * hotel – (Roche Royal) and a few Class 3 * – Green Grove, Dolce Vita, Svyatograd, the water area. Svyatogorsky hotel will cost you about 300 hryvnias for two persons per night.
