History of Sarai Kale Khana
The region was named ‘Kale khan ki sarai‘, a sarai, or rest house for explorers or troops and illustrious course from Mughal magnificent courts and Chandni Chowk to their withdraw at Mehrauli somewhere in the range of 32 km away.
