Top 7 Beaches In Thailand
This South Asian destination is known throughout the world and for what? A perfect combination of bustling cities with picturesque and lush green beaches. Roads filled with Tuk Tuks, orange-robed monks, and a plethora of things to eat, Thailand easily wins the race of the most popular tourist destination. It has the perfect mixture of city life, beaches, lagoons, temples, and monasteries. Having said that, here are the top 7 beaches in Thailand that are definitely worth a visit:
Koh Phi Phi
A truly beautiful island with a huge number of tourists visiting it annually making it a not so peaceful destination but it is the perfect party destination in all of Thailand. Not only the nightlife but this island offers gorgeous views of the ocean as well making it a perfect combination. You can find yourself seven
nights of the week partying, it is busy all the seven days of the week all around the year.
A 15-minute drive from Koh Phi Phi, Maya Bay is another popular destination amongst the tourists. With the amazing views and the quaint surroundings, Maya Bay is the perfect place to go for a swim in the clean blue waters. Made famous by Leonardo DiCaprio’s movie, The Beach which was shot here.
Koh Yao Noi and koh Yao Yai
These two little islands are so close to each other that they can practically be called one. These are both located right off the coast of busy Phuket. Incredible lush green patches with the cleanest waters and the amazing beach stretches. A definite must-visit if around the Phuket area. Unlike other beaches mentioned so far, these two offer the serenity and peace that you might be looking for on your vacation to Thailand.
Pristine beaches with clean blue water and the ultimate swimming experience, this is the place for all that. Swings set up on the beaches make you feel like your swinging in paradise. The most interesting way to spend a day here is to do island tours. Here you get two options a four-island or a five island tour.
The Syree beach, this beach holds special mention for not the waters or the beach itself, but for the one thing, the majority of the tourists go to Thailand for nightlife. This beach comes to life at night and has one of the best night parties. Bars, restaurants, and fire shows are something that attracts most people to this beach. Koh Tao has many other beaches that are worth a visit.
One of the least visited islands and beaches in Thailand but undoubtedly one of the most beautiful islands to be on, Koh Kood is a world in itself. It’s located on the eastern coast of Thailand near the Cambodian border. It has some extremely luxurious resorts which you can book to enjoy Koh Kood king style. It’s not so natural and is kept perfectly groomed at all times making it aesthetically very pleasing, it is thus perfect for a romantic getaway.
Located very close to Koh Kood, Koh Mak is one of the best beaches in all of Thailand. It’s on an island by the name of Cole Mak. It is again a not so popular tourist destination, allowing you the peace that you crave. It is also very beautiful and the waters are the rarest and purest forms of blue here. Koh Mak is the perfect combination of pristine beaches with amazingly refined food culture in restaurants and bars.
But not the above-mentioned points make this beach the number one but the 10 min short boat ride to Koh Kham from this beach is what makes Koh Mak the best beach in Thailand. Koh Kham is a privately owned island and one of the most serene beaches ever seen. Incredible white sands, clearest of blue waters, tall swaying palm trees, and the feeling of seclusion and disconnection are what makes Koh Kham one of the best places to visit in Thailand.
