Romantic Goa Restaurants For That Perfect Dinner
Goa is definitely the place to go to be a part of the hip and happening crowd. The parties here are phenomenal. At the same time, Goa happens to be a hot destination for newlyweds too. For these couples, escaping the crowds, the parties, and enjoying a few moments in a hard to find quiet corner is priceless. And if those times are accompanied by good food and a perfect romantic ambiance, then that might very well become the highlight of a trip. In Goa, we go in search of quaint, picturesque eateries that are perfect for date nights, celebrations, or just simply a romantic dinner.
An amazing location near the river makes Amigos a very charming place and it wins a place on our list. Located under the Nerul Bridge in Bardez, Amigos is all about home-cooked Goan food in a serene location. Do not expect luxurious settings, just a simple no-frills establishment. It is run by a husband-wife duo. The fresh seafood and meat, and recipes handed down from generation to generation add to the taste of the food.
If you are looking for some authentic Goan recipes, then your search ends here. though the place is a delight for seafood lovers, they took utmost care of vegetarians too. The place feels up quickly especially in the evenings so be early. The ambiance is rustic yet the picturesque setting makes it romantic. Recently they also added a room for rent. The room has a balcony overlooking the river.
Bistro Villa Blanche
Good food, good music, and good company are the USP of Bistro Villa Blanche. Though it does not seem quite a romantic place, it made it to my list because of its charming location. It is housed in an old Portuguese villa in the charming Goanese village of Assagao. The place is named after the original owner of the house Ms. Blanche.
The sitting area looks very cozy and homely, there is handcrafted mosaic tables, a lounging area with colorful pillows and throws. The food is home-cooked, and the products are resourced from local markets and from stores in Europe. Since it was originally conceived as a German Bakery, you will find a few dishes from Germany, and baked goods too. However, most customers agree that they get a feel of old European cuisine here.
The dishes to try here are the Purple Mango Thai Curry, Asian Prawn Salad, Smoked Black Forest Ham. They have also introduced a vegan menu and I hear the Sunday brunch is very popular here. A late morning brunch with your beloved will definitely be a great way to start your day. They also have a small store for fashion and lifestyle here.

Waterfront Terrace And Bar
Sometimes a quaint eatery is not just enough especially if you are celebrating an occasion or want to surprise your spouse or partner. For those special days head to the luxurious waterfront restaurant of the Marriott in Panaji. The location is perfect as you get a great view of the ocean and can spend hours looking at it. As expected from a 5-star property, the service is impeccable and so is the decor. You can choose to sit outside and I feel, under the stars creates the perfect idyllic ambiance, either for long conversations or some quietude. The food at the buffets here is a mix of Indian, Continental, and of course local. Albeit expensive, the ambiance, food, and hospitality make up for it.

One of the most iconic romantic restaurants in Goa is perhaps the Tuscany Gardens. It is also known as one of the best places for Italian cuisines in Goa. The quaint location on CandolimSinquerim road, just beside a huge tree, the outdoor seating area with green plants, charming lanterns, and typical gingham table clothes give this place an aura of its own.
For some, the flowers falling from the trees at your table can be a nuisance, but for the romantic at heart, that would lend such a special touch to the whole dining experience! The seating arrangement is such that everyone seems to have a little private space. Many find the food as good as any eatery in Italy. It will be a nice change from the usual spicy Indian curries if you have been eating a lot of them. The pizzas and pasta all are amazing, you can’t make a wrong choice here.

If love is in the air, can chocolates be far behind? Hence the final eatery on my list is a cafe that specializes in all things chocolate. The experience here is that of an intimate, cozy cafe. It is very refreshing as well, a change from the usual touristy kind of eateries with typical curries and thalis. The alfresco seating area gives the impression of an English tea room. The cafe is literally a hidden gem, though located on Fort Aguada road, it is very easy to miss it. Each table has a fan which keeps the temperatures down even during mid-day. The tranquil setting sets it apart from other places. Though the place is known for baked goodies, they also offer all-day breakfasts. A good option for a light lunch would be the paninis. The home-made chocolates are great for taking back with you.

Good review but there is no Word Goanese. It should be Goan
